Droid Hard Reset

Hard Reset Droid, Droid Hard Reset, Droid Factory Reset

This will help you with resetting your Motorola Droid

Hard Reset Droid

A. First thing to do is to Turn the Droid off. If your Droid won’t turn off, take the battery out of the Droid and then put it back into the Droid.

B. Slide Open the Droid keyboard and press the X key while pressing and holding Power button. The Droid will power on. Keep holding the buttons down on your Droid until a yellow triangle appears on the screen of the Droid.

C. Press the Camera and Volume Up buttons on your Droid at the same time to get to the menu. (It can take a few tries to get it to work on your Droid).

D. Use the direction pad to the right of the Droid keyboard to select the Format option on your Droid.

Droid Hard Reset

1. Turn on your Droid and Open Settings from Home > Menu or tap the application slider and select the Settings icon on your Droid.

2. Select Privacy on the Droid.

3. Choose Factory data reset on your Droid.

4. Select Reset phone.

The hard reset Droid process can take a few minutes to compete. When it is  complete, you can reboot the Droid.  Once Rebooted it will be reset to factory default settings, just like it was when you got it on the first day. The Droid cell phone is ready to be used again, or you can sell the Droid to another user, or placed the Droid in storage.
